La Cuvette is operating as an hotel and therefore has its own restaurants, bar and a spacious kitchen, see below.

La Cuvette has 12 bedrooms; some have been refurbished recently, some are a bit more old fashioned and could be refreshed. Generally speaking the buildings are in good condition. Some facilities would need some upgrading to face the present competition in the tourism industry. Creativity in decoration could do a good job and should not require a lot of investment. Nevertheless, we have to keep in mind that La Cuvette is not a beach hotel and therefore is targeting another market. This type of investment and the amount to be invested is in line with the inland tourist market.

Conclusion: An inland small tourism operation which needs some refurbishing and decoration.  The potential in small establishments certainly exists on Praslin. A good cook serving the traditional creole cuisine would do wonders The price has been set in a reasonable way.
